Career Education Corporation Reports Results for Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2012
Schaumburg, Ill. (February 27, 2013) - Career Education Corporation (NASDAQ: CECO) today reported
total revenue of $354.7 million, and a net loss of $61.5 million, or -$0.93 per diluted share, for the fourth quarter of
2012 compared to total revenue of $438.3 million and net loss of $120.4 million, or -$1.64 per diluted share, for the
fourth quarter of 2011. For the full year 2012, total revenue of $1.49 billion, and net loss of $142.8 million, or
-$2.15 per diluted share decreased from total revenue of $1.87 billion and net income of $18.6 million, or $0.25 per
diluted share, for the full year 2011.
