Our veterinary technology programs allow students who want to promote the health and well-being of animals learn the clinical skills and theoretical knowledge needed to pursue entry-level support roles in veterinary offices. Students can learn to perform basic tests and administrative tasks necessary for effective treatment and smooth workflow.

Course topics may include:

• Comparative anatomy and physiology
• Pharmacology
• Veterinary surgery and anesthesia theories
• Medical office administration and information systems
• Veterinary law and ethics

Students in our health education programs can benefit from the real-world perspective of our instructors, many of whom have experience in the fields they teach. Our curriculum also places emphasis on career-focused learning experiences that model the workplace and includes an externship providing supervised experience in the field, as well as laboratory, clinical, and lecture components.

All schools have a Career Services department dedicated to helping students identify, clarify, and pursue their academic and professional goals.

Finally, our schools’ Alumni Associations offer additional opportunities for students and graduates to make important connections—professional and personal.

Veterinary Technology
Veterinary technology provides veterinarians with the assistance they need to effectively carry out the treatment of animal patients. From taking dental impressions and blood samples to managing patient and owner information, veterinary technology plays a crucial role in animal health care.
