        Program Focus

        Our general studies degree programs have a dual focus: to help students develop the critical thinking, general knowledge, and communications skills employers seek, and to allow students the opportunity to explore before settling on a bachelor degree completion program.

        Course topics may include:

        • Algebra and mathematics
        • Psychology, sociology, and ethics
        • Business administration
        • Professional writing and speaking
        • Computer applications and productivity software

        Student Life

        Students in our general studies degree programs can benefit from the real-world perspective of our instructors, many of whom have experience in the fields they teach. Our curriculum also places emphasis on practical learning experiences.

        All schools have a Career Services department dedicated to helping students identify, clarify, and pursue their academic and professional goals.

        Finally, our schools’ Alumni Associations offer additional opportunities for students and graduates to make important connections—professional and personal.

        Customer Service
        Organizations of all types require that their customers and clients have access to a helpful, personable source of information and problem resolution. Customer service provides a point of contact between the organization and members of the general public who use it.
