The visual journalism programs at our schools aim to produce graduates with the technical proficiency, storytelling skills, and ethical understanding necessary to visual journalism.

• Picture editing and publication design

Our visual journalism program emphasizes project-based learning that reflects the real-world working environment. Students can benefit from the perspective of instructors, many of whom have industry experience, and train on industry-current equipment. Internship opportunities and professional portfolio development are also an important part of many programs.

Students can also take advantage of our Career Services departments who are dedicated to helping them identify, clarify, and pursue their academic and professional goals.

Photography
Photography involves producing, retouching, and editing photographic images. Digital photography production methods are now industry standard.
