Emphasizing professionalism and the development of technical proficiency, our photography curriculum teaches digital and traditional production skills for a variety of uses: documentary photography, event and portraiture photography, and fine art photography.

Course topics include:

• Location and studio lighting
• Journalistic photography
• Photo retouching and editing software
• Business and client relations for photographers

Our photography programs emphasize project-based learning that reflects the real-world working environment. Many of our instructors have professional industry experience, and students use industry-current tools, software, and equipment. Internship opportunities and professional portfolio development are also an important part of many programs.

Students both online and on-campus can take advantage of our Career Services departments, who are dedicated to helping design students identify, clarify, and pursue their academic and professional goals.
